About Your Lebanon, Oregon Doula
Hey there! I am Charise Blodgett CD (Dona), wife and mama to 7 beautiful children, living in Lebanon, Oregon. We are a homeschooling family so a majority of my time is spent with my children as they learn all the things. When we aren’t doing school work at home, we are spending time together as a family, going for walks, taking field trips, remodeling whatever house we are living in, and serving at church.
As women started opening up to me about their birth experiences, I realized very few women have the information and support they need during this very special time in their lives. Because of that, I decided after my 7th baby to become a certified doula through Dona International.
I believe that offering women the support they need can help improve their birth and postpartum experiences. My hope is for every woman to look back on their experience and feel informed, supported and heard.
How I Support You
Bringing a baby into the world is one of the most sacred moments of your life. Having the right birth team and support is so important. As your doula, my goal is to come alongside you to help you feel informed, prepared and confident. I will provide or help you find the resources you’re looking for so you are able to make the right decisions for you and your baby. I provide physical, mental and emotional support before, during and after you have your baby. My goal is to make this time as peaceful as possible for you and your family.
I offer 2 different options, birth doula services and postpartum doula services. All visits happen on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 4pm-8pm and Sundays between 3pm-5pm. Babies come in their own time and birth support will happen whenever baby decides to come.
